PSW visa eligibility requirements
Under the point-based immigration system, students must accumulate a total of points overall to qualify for a Post-Study Work (PSW) visa. Successful completion of a qualified course offered in the UK earns points.
Candidates have to satisfy the following requirements:
- When seeking a PSW visa, they must have a valid student authorization granted by an educational institution in the UK on their list of filed sponsors and a track record of compliance with regulations.
- Complete their degree successfully at either the undergraduate level or participate.
- Unless they participate in a study abroad program within their primary area of study, they will remain in the United States for the duration of their education.
- Not already have a PSW visa issued.
- Pass checks including security, identification, and criminal activity.
- Pay the Immigration Health Surcharge and the application cost.
Generally speaking, UK visa expenses are not refundable. Whether the visa is approved or rejected, the amount you pay and send with your application covers the cost of processing it. Consequently, you will not be refunded the application cost, whether you decline or opt to decline it following submission.
