Program Overview

In this master's program, you will explore biochemical, cellular, and molecular biological methods for quantifying metabolic processes. You will study the relationships between nutrition and disease, including pathobiochemical, pathophysiological, and toxicological aspects, as well as the effects of plant and animal food components on health. Other key areas of study include the interactions between the intestinal microbiota and the host, as well as olfactory and gustatory perception and nutritional epidemiology. The extensive elective program enables you to tailor your studies to your specific interests.

You will also complete an eight-week internship, during which you will work on scientific projects and apply experimental methods in nutritional science. Associated courses will provide you with the theoretical foundations necessary for this field.
