Year 1 (Semesters 1 & 2):

  • Compulsory course:
    • Structural Tools in Nanoscience (7.5 ECTS)
  • Restricted elective courses totaling approximately 22.5 ECTS from core nanoscience areas such as:
    • Advanced Fluorescence Spectroscopy and Microscopy
    • Quantum Nanoelectronics
    • Biophysics of Cells and Single Molecules
    • Physical Implementations of Quantum Information Processing
    • And more courses from physics, chemistry, and biology departments
  • Elective courses (approx. 30 ECTS): Can be freely chosen from courses across the Faculty of Science and other faculties or universities.

Year 2 (Semesters 3 & 4):

  • Master's Thesis (45 or 60 ECTS): Research project focused on a nanoscience topic, supervised by faculty and possibly industry partners.
