Year 1
- Four study blocks, each 15 ECTS and lasting nine weeks.
- Compulsory courses include:
- Biosolutions in Industrial Application
- Data Handling and Analysis
- Fermentation at Scale
- Bioprocess Engineering
- Biological Production Hosts in Industry
- Downstream Processing
- Elective courses start in the latter part of Year 1.
Year 2
- Continuation with elective and restricted elective courses (30 ECTS).
- Main focus on the Master’s thesis (45 ECTS), involving deep research often done in collaboration with companies.
- Elective topics include sustainable production, quality control, legislation, project management, and innovation projects.
- Opportunities to do a Project in Practice or study abroad within elective course scop
