Where to Apply

Non-EU/EEA students have two options:

• VFS Global Visa Application Centre (applicable for most countries).
• The Danish Consulate General (e.g., in the U.S., applications are handled by the New York office).

How to Book

Online portal: Use the ApplyVisa system (Denmark’s official platform) to register, pay fees, and print a cover letter.

VFS Global Website: Select your country, choose "Student Residence Permit," and pick an available slot.

Visa Application Fee

You can pay the fee online via SIRI’s portal. This fee is non-refundable and is paid when creating your Case Order ID. The payable amount is DKK 2,255. 

Consulate Service Fee for Residence Permit

These fees vary by country. You can pay the amount via the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark. Currently, the fee is DKK 1745 

VFS Service Fee

This fee also varies from country to country. The official VFS website provides the amount and payment options.
