Applications are now open for the University of Surrey. 2025 Microbiology Undergraduate Scholarship. The scholarship is awarded as a £2,000 accommodation fee waiver in the first year of study only. It is open to UK offer-holders for bachelor's degree courses or integrated master's programmes in the School of Biosciences at the University of Surrey. Students living outside of university accommodation will be offered this as a cash award.
The University of Surrey is a public research university located in Guildford, Surrey, in the South East of England, United Kingdom. The university specialises in science, engineering, medicine, and business. It received its charter on 9 September 1966, and was previously situated near Battersea Park in south-west London. The institution was known as Battersea College of Technology before gaining university status. Its roots, however, go back to the Battersea Polytechnic Institute, founded in 1891 to provide further and higher education for London's poorer inhabitants.

Requirements for University of Surrey Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification
Be a UK student, with home fee status
Hold an offer to study a full-time bachelor's/integrated master’s degree programme at FHEQ Level 4 (first-year entry) in the following subject;
Microbiology BSc (Hons).
Applicants for the foundation year cannot be considered for this award.
