Requirements for the University of Strathclyde Master's Qualification
Through its International Master's Scholarship Programme, ScottishPower is looking to develop a new generation of people with enthusiasm for learning, a desire to innovate, and an aspiration to transform the energy industry.
Applicants must have, or expect to receive, a Bachelor's with Honours at a minimum 2:1 (or equivalent) or a Master’s degree from a recognised university on submission of the application. Suppose the applicant is still in the final year of the academic course 2024-25. In that case, the grant will be contingent upon the applicant securing a university degree at the determined level at the end of the academic cycle in June/July 2025.
Applicants must follow the usual application procedure for the UK University they wish to attend. Applications submitted by students who have not applied will be rejected during selection.
Applicants may not receive any scholarship, financial aid, or other award of a similar nature nature from institutions and public or private foundations during the period that the Scholarship is awarded for.
Although we would prefer that scholars not take up a part-time job while they study, we understand that due to the current cost of living, you may be required to do so. We would be happy to progress with a role so long as it did not interfere with your studies.
Integrated Masters will not be funded as part of this programme.
Candidates who have previously been awarded a scholarship by ScottishPower, the ScottishPower Foundation or any of the other companies within the Iberdrola group are not eligible to apply.
If you are passionate about making a difference and have the drive and determination to succeed, apply for a Study in UK Scholarship today and take the first step towards an exciting future.
