The MSc Cybersecurity Technology programme at Canterbury Christ Church University is designed to equip you with advanced technical, analytical, and strategic skills needed to protect, detect, and respond to evolving cyber threats. Co-designed with industry experts, the course bridges theory and practice and aligns with recognised cybersecurity frameworks such as the Cyber Security Body of Knowledge and the UK’s National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC).

Overview

This one-year (full-time) master’s degree immerses you in cyber defence strategies, cryptography, network security, AI security, and information systems security. You’ll gain hands-on experience through practical assignments, computer labs, simulations, and a culminating research project. An optional placement track lets you apply your skills in a professional setting.  With both technical depth and interdisciplinary breadth, the programme prepares graduates for careers such as security analyst, cryptographer, incident responder, consultant, or cyber policy specialist.
