University of Auckland International Student Excellence Scholarship

The University of Auckland International Student Excellence Scholarship is a merit-based award designed to support outstanding new international students. The scholarship provides up to NZD 10,000 towards compulsory tuition fees and is awarded to up to 50 students each year.

It is available for students enrolling full-time in undergraduate, postgraduate diploma, or master’s programmes. Selection is based mainly on academic excellence, the strength of the personal statement, and a referee’s recommendation.

This scholarship recognises high-achieving students who demonstrate strong academic performance and clear academic and career goals. It aims to attract talented international students to study at the University of Auckland and contribute to its diverse academic community.
