  • Study English for Special Purposes and develop academic communication through Philosophy and Current Issues, Integrity and Anti-Corruption, and Affective Domain activities.
  • Build science and engineering foundations with Calculus, Ordinary Differential Equations, Material Sciences, Basic Electrical Engineering, and Engineering Mechanics.
  • Develop early biomedical context through Introduction to Medicine and Anatomy & Physiology, supported by Laboratory 1 & 2.
  • Strengthen core technical skills using Information & Communication Technology and Introduction to Biomedical Engineering Technology.

  • Learn engineering and computing foundations including Engineering Mathematics, Computer Programming, Electric Circuit Analysis, Engineering Drawing, and Forces, Field & Flows.
  • Develop electronics and systems capabilities with Digital Electronics, Analog Electronics, and Signal & Systems.
  • Build biomedical life-science and measurement foundations through Molecular Biology & Biochemistry, Biomechanics, and Laboratory 3 & 4.

Advanced biomedical systems and instrumentation
  • Advance biomedical knowledge with Haematology & Immunology, Pathology & Microbiology, and Biophysics.
  • Build biomedical signal and instrumentation capability through Biomedical Signal Processing & Analysis, Biomedical Measurement & Instrumentation, Biomedical Electronics & Microcomputer, and Laboratory 5 & 6.
  • Learn safety, standards, and biomedical practice through Biomedical Acts, Standards & Safety and Biomedical Signal processing applications.
  • Develop medical imaging and biomaterials foundations through Biomedical Imaging System, Biomaterials, Medical Image Processing & Analysis, and elective preparation.
Final-year project, device design, and clinical training
