📝 How to Apply
Step 1: Eligibility check and pre-application review
Read the programme entry requirements for international applicants and confirm your qualification matches the listed options. Sunway University states that all application documents and initial payment are to be submitted to the International Office at least eight weeks before the intake date(s). If you are unsure about your qualification equivalency, email Sunway University to confirm eligibility before applying.
Step 2: Submit your application online to Sunway International Office
Fill out and submit the International Student Application Form and attach the required documents to avoid processing delays. Sunway University lists required items including the completed application form, Health Declaration Form, passport information, certified true copies of academic qualifications, and English language qualifications where applicable. Sunway also notes that incomplete applications cannot be processed and the International Office may request additional documents during evaluation.
Step 3: Pay the required international student fees
After eligibility is confirmed, proceed with the required payments for international students. Sunway University states an RM 742 enrolment fee (non-refundable, non-transferable) and RM 3,300 student pass or visa processing fee paid to EMGS (non-refundable). Make sure payments are completed as missing payments can delay processing.
Step 4: Receive offer letter and complete student pass application
Successful applicants receive offer letters via email within 3 working days. Accept the offer as detailed in the Letter of Offer and sign and return the Acceptance of Offer to the International Office. Sunway University states that student pass approval processing can take up to 6–8 weeks after receiving the signed acceptance and required documents and payments.
