International applicants should review the programme’s entry requirements and ensure they meet both the academic pathway and English language requirements for admission. Sunway advises applicants to email first to confirm eligibility before applying, especially if your qualifications are not exactly the standard listed routes. Sunway also states that all application documents and initial payment must be submitted to the International Office at least eight weeks before the intake date(s).
Fill out and submit the International Student Application Form and attach the required documents listed by Sunway for international students. Sunway requests a Health Declaration Form, a digital copy of passport-sized photographs, colour scan of your passport, and certified true copies of academic qualifications. If your English medium is not English, Sunway notes you should include an English language qualification such as IELTS/TOEFL/Pearson/Cambridge/OET. Sunway also states incomplete applications cannot be processed and the International Office may request additional documents as part of evaluation.
After your eligibility is confirmed, Sunway instructs you to proceed with payments as part of the international application process. The listed payments include an RM 700 enrolment fee (non-refundable, non-transferable) and RM 2,400 student pass/visa processing fee paid to EMGS. Once payments are made, successful applicants will receive offer letters via email within 3 working days.
To start the student pass process, you must accept your offer as detailed in the Letter of Offer, sign and return the Acceptance of Offer to the International Office. Sunway notes that visa approval processing time can take up to 6 to 8 weeks once the student pass application is submitted with all required documents and payments. After approval, a Visa Approval Letter (VAL) is issued, and Sunway states the student VAL is valid for 6 months from the issued date.
For entry into Bachelor of Nursing (Honours), Sunway states applicants are required to attend an interview session and pass a medical check-up. These are programme-specific steps in addition to document submission and English proficiency. Plan to complete these requirements during your admission processing timeline so you do not miss the steps needed for your offer and enrolment.
