School-leaving qualifications (equivalent) or pre-university studiesInternational applicants are assessed using recognised foreign school-leaving qualifications such as American Degree Transfer Programme (ADTP) completion with minimum CGPA 2.00, STPM with average Grade C or CGPA above 2.00 (minimum 2 principals), A-Level (minimum 8 points with at least two D grades across subjects), Australian Matriculation ATAR (minimum 50%), Canadian Matriculation (minimum 50%), Monash University Foundation Year (minimum 50%), Foundation Program (minimum CGPA 2.00), Unified Examination Certificate (maximum 30 points from 5 subjects including English), and International Baccalaureate (minimum 24 points excluding bonus points). Applicants with a diploma (minimum CGPA 2.00) may also be considered, and other equivalent qualifications are considered on a case-to-case basis.
Specific subject requirement (Mathematics and Science)International applicants must have credit in Mathematics and one Science subject at SPM level or its equivalent, or at a higher level. If you do not meet this subject requirement, Sunway University notes that you may still be accepted but will need to take and pass reinforcement course(s) as prerequisites to related core courses in the programme.

    Complete and submit the International Student Application Form on Sunway University’s international admissions process. Ensure your information is complete and attach the required documents (including your application form and certified true copies of your academic qualifications). Sunway University also requests English language qualifications for non-English medium of instruction/education systems or qualifications.

    After you submit, Sunway University will evaluate your eligibility.
