📘 Program Overview

The Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Theatre Production is a rigorous programme covering contemporary theatre-making’s dynamic practice. Students hone and sharpen their craft in performance, directing, devising design, and production management, supported by critical studies of history, context, and theory.

Students also study the production of theatre in an increasingly digital world, while building foundational proficiency in leadership, innovation, self-sustainability, and arts entrepreneurship. The programme is taught by theatre practitioners and academicians and includes five productions over three years, plus a 12-week industrial placement before graduation.

Submit application and initial payment to the International Office

Sunway University states that all application documents and initial payment must be submitted to the International Office at least eight weeks before the intake date(s). Complete the international application form and submit the required documents in line with the posted checklist, avoiding incomplete applications that cannot be processed. Pay the required enrolment fee and any applicable student pass/visa processing fee as instructed in the international application procedures.

Receive the offer letter and start the Student Pass process

After eligibility is confirmed and your payments are completed, successful applicants receive offer letters via email within 3 working days. You must accept the offer by signing and returning the acceptance to the International Office and send any outstanding documents listed in the incomplete record checklist attached to your offer letter. Sunway University notes Student Pass approval processing time can take up to 6 to 8 weeks.
