Review the programme’s entry requirements, English language requirements, and the portfolio review requirement before you apply. Confirm your qualification pathway (for example, A-Level, IB, STPM, diploma, or an equivalent) and ensure your documents match what the admissions team expects for international applicants. Sunway’s international guidance asks applicants to email first to confirm eligibility before submitting.
Complete and submit the International Student Application Form and upload the required documents with your application. Sunway states that all application documents and initial payment must be submitted to the International Office at least eight weeks before the intake date(s). Incomplete applications cannot be processed, and the International Office may request additional documents if needed.
After eligibility is confirmed, proceed with the payments required by Sunway’s international admissions process. Sunway publishes that international applicants pay an enrolment fee of RM 700 and a student pass/visa processing fee of RM 2,400 paid to EMGS (non-refundable). Keep your payment proof for your visa and student pass processing workflow.
Sunway states that successful applicants receive offer letters via email within 3 working days. You must accept the offer as instructed, sign and return the Acceptance of Offer to the International Office, and submit any outstanding documents listed in the incomplete record checklist attached to the Letter of Offer. Sunway also notes that student pass approval processing time can take up to 6–8 weeks after submission of the required materials.
Once the Student Pass is approved, a Visa Approval Letter (VAL) is issued and you can print the VAL as instructed by Sunway. Sunway notes the student VAL is valid for 6 months from the issued date. Use the latest pre-travel preparation checklist shared by the admission team to finalize travel and onboarding arrangements for your intake.
