📝 How to Apply

1

Step 1: Eligibility check and document readiness

International applicants should review the programme entry requirements and confirm they meet the stated qualification and English language requirements before submitting. Sunway’s international guidance asks applicants to read programme details, entry requirements, and commencement date, and to email the university first if they need confirmation. Plan ahead because Sunway states that application documents and initial payment are to be submitted to the International Office at least eight weeks before the intake date(s).

2

Step 2: Submit the international application with supporting documents

Applicants should fill out and submit the International Student Application Form with the required documents attached to avoid delays. Sunway’s international guidance lists required items such as the Health Declaration Form, passport photographs, a scan of the passport pages, and certified true copies of academic qualifications. The guidance also notes that incomplete applications cannot be processed and the International Office may request additional documents during evaluation.

3

Step 3: Pay required initial fees after eligibility confirmation

After eligibility is confirmed, applicants proceed with the required payments stated by Sunway for international students. Sunway’s International application guidance lists an Enrolment Fee and an EMGS Student Pass/visa processing fee paid to EMGS. Applicants should follow the payment instructions and pay within the process timeline because late documents can delay the Student Pass application.

4

Step 4: Receive offer letter and complete Student Pass steps

Successful applicants receive offer letters via email within 3 working days, according to Sunway’s international guidance. Applicants then accept the offer as detailed in the Letter of Offer and return the signed Acceptance of Offer to the International Office along with any outstanding documents listed in the incomplete record checklist. Sunway states that Student Pass approval processing time can take up to 6 to 8 weeks after submission of the signed acceptance and required documents and payments.
