Before you submit, review the programme details, entry requirements, commencement date, and the fee and accommodation information. Sunway University also advises international applicants to email the university first to confirm eligibility before applying. Start early because the application documents and initial payment must be submitted at least eight (8) weeks before the intake date(s).
Complete and submit the International Student Application Form and attach the required documents to avoid processing delays. The required attachments include your completed application form, a Health Declaration Form, passport-sized photographs, and certified true copies of your academic qualifications. The university also requests English language qualifications where needed for non-English-medium education systems or qualifications. If required for your situation, add any additional documents mentioned by the university.
Once your eligibility is confirmed, proceed with the payment steps described by the International Office. The university specifies an RM 700 enrolment fee (non-refundable, non-transferable) and a RM 2,400 student pass/visa processing fee paid to EMGS (non-refundable). After payments, successful applicants receive an offer letter via email within 3 working days.
Accept the offer as detailed in your Letter of Offer, sign the Acceptance of Offer, and return it to the International Office. Send any outstanding documents listed in the incomplete record checklist attached with the letter of offer, as late submission can delay the Student Pass. The university states Student Pass approval processing can take up to 6 to 8 weeks after submission of the signed acceptance and required documents and payments.
