If you are an international applicant, contact Southern University College’s International Student Office (ISO) to confirm programme fit and required documents. Prepare your passport and academic documents for submission by email as instructed by the ISO. For postgraduate applicants, Southern University College also requires a proposal submission as part of the process.
Submit your application form, and for postgraduate applicants include the proposal as required. Then submit the necessary documents to the ISO by email. After documents are received, Southern University College conducts internal evaluation by the relevant department, faculty, or admissions office.
Submit the application fee as stated in Southern University College’s international student application procedures. If your application is approved, Southern University College issues an Offer Letter. If you are rejected, you will not proceed to the visa processing stage through ISO.
Once ISO receives your approval status, ISO submits the documents to Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) for visa processing. When the VAL is approved, you are required to make the payment stated in the international student application procedures (part B payment and first year’s tuition fee) to Southern University College. ISO will then provide the VAL to you for your next steps with the Malaysian embassy for a Single Entry Visa (SEV).
After you receive your Student Pass endorsement, you continue as a student of Southern University College. You must inform ISO at least 7 days in advance before departure so ISO can prepare immigration clearance on arrival. ISO will arrange post-arrival medical check-up, which must be completed within 7 days after arrival.
