A minimum CGPA of 2.50 (or its equivalent as accepted by the HEP’s Senate) is required, or applicants may be considered with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 subject to the university’s additional internal assessment requirements. Applicants whose CGPA does not meet the 2.50 requirement may be required to take prerequisite courses, and applicants with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 may also be required to take prerequisite courses along with rigorous internal assessment.

Language requirements

For international applicants, Southern University College requires an accepted English competency test or an approved exemption for applicants whose prior education was fully delivered in English.
