📝 How to Apply

1

Contact the International Student Office (ISO) and prepare documents

International applicants should contact Southern University College’s International Student Office (ISO) to confirm document requirements before submitting. Prepare your application form and the necessary documents requested by ISO once you are decided to apply. Follow the ISO guidance because your application will be checked by the relevant department, faculty, or admission office for internal evaluation.

2

Submit your application and required fee

Submit the application form and send your necessary documents to ISO by email once you have prepared them. Southern UC’s international application procedures state that you must submit an application fee of RM 500. After internal evaluation, Southern UC will issue an offer letter if approved.

3

Receive the offer letter and complete the required payments for visa processing

If you receive an offer letter, Southern UC requires you to submit RM 3,500 as instructed for other charges Part A. After that, ISO submits the documents to Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) for a Visa Approval Letter (VAL). Once the VAL is approved, you must pay the RM 3,500 (Part B) and the first year’s tuition fee to Southern UC.

4

Proceed with visa steps and required pre-arrival actions

After VAL is approved, Southern UC’s procedures state that you proceed to the local Embassy of Malaysia to apply for the Single Entry Visa (SEV), following embassy instructions. You must also inform ISO at least 7 days in advance prior to your departure so ISO can prepare for immigration clearance upon arrival. Once you arrive, ISO will arrange the post-arrival medical check-up within 7 days upon arrival.
