📝 How to Apply

1

Contact the International Student Office (ISO) and prepare documents

International applicants should contact the university's International Student Office (ISO) to confirm the required documents and admission process for visa processing. Submit your application documents and the application fee RM 500 to the ISO after you decide to apply. Your submission is reviewed internally before the university issues an offer letter.

2

Receive the offer letter and pay the required amount

After internal evaluation by the relevant department (Faculty/Admission Office), the university issues an offer letter. Applicants are then required to submit RM 3,500. This payment step supports the next stage of visa approval documentation.

3

Visa Approval Letter (VAL) process through EMGS

Once your documents are ready, the ISO submits the documents to Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) for the Visa Approval Letter (VAL). After VAL is approved, you must pay RM 3,500 (Part B) and the first year’s tuition fee to Southern UC. The ISO will forward the VAL to you for your next steps.

4

If required, apply for Single Entry VISA (SEV) and complete arrival formalities

For visa-required countries, students are required to apply for a Single Entry VISA (SEV) via the local Embassy of Malaysia before travel. You must inform the ISO at least 7 days in advance prior to departure so they can prepare immigration clearance upon arrival. A panel clinic post-arrival medical check-up is required within 7 days of arrival, and the ISO then proceeds with the student pass endorsement once EMGS supporting letters are issued.
