Check that your recognised Bachelor’s degree (Art & Design or related field) meets the CGPA and, where applicable, working experience requirements. Confirm your English language evidence (IELTS 5.0 or equivalent) before you prepare documents. Also consider alternative routes such as APEL.A with interview where applicable.
Obtain the application form from SEGi’s International Office or International Agent and complete it carefully. Attach certified true copies of your academic qualifications and include a full set of scanned passport copies. Provide English translations of documents submitted, as well as a complete medical report and your English competency test result.
Submit the minimum payment stated by SEGi for application and student visa processing as part of international student admission. For new applicants applying from their country of origin, SEGi specifies this initial payment amount as part of the application process. Keep payment evidence for your records and follow the payment method described by SEGi.
After SEGi receives your application form, required fees, and supporting documents, they will email a copy of the Letter of Offer if you meet the programme entry requirements. SEGi will then submit documents to Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) and the Malaysian Immigration Department to begin visa application. This process is stated as approximately 6 to 8 weeks.
