Diploma Reka Bentuk Multimedia (Mod Dalam Talian) is designed to guide students in developing multimedia content and maintaining a creative mindset when managing and producing multimedia-related products. It focuses on practical, creative, and communication skills needed to plan, design, and build fully interactive multimedia applications.

Students also have the opportunity to apply theory through case studies and hands-on practice using 2D and 3D animation, digital media, audio, and interface design, as well as managing and developing a multimedia team.

Course structure

Foundation creative and multimedia fundamentals
  • Learn Basic Photography, Drawing 1, and Art History to build core visual foundations.
  • Develop communication and creative practice through Bahasa Melayu Komunikasi 1 (international students), Entrepreneurship, and Growth Mindset / National Language A*.
  • Cover design fundamentals with Kajian Warna, Reka Bentuk 2 & 3 Dimensi, and Asas Reka Bentuk Grafik.
  • Build multimedia base skills using Asas Multimedia, plus Reka Bentuk Tipografi and Latihan Bahasa Umum.
Production, multimedia design and interactive development
  • Strengthen media and business context with Prinsip Pemasaran and Bahasa Inggeris Akademik.
  • Gain content and production skills through Electronic Publishing and Digital Audio & Video Editing.
  • Create and develop multimedia projects with Reka Bentuk Multimedia 1, Pembangunan Kandungan Multimedia, and Multimedia Content Development.
  • Develop interactive and animation capability using Pengaturcaraan Interaktif and Animasi 1, plus Kaedah Reka Bentuk and Reka Bentuk Multimedia 2.
Industry placement and capstone-style portfolio work
  • Build practical work experience through Latihan Industri.
  • Learn production processes and deliverables with Pengeluaran Cetakan.
  • Prepare for real-world digital delivery with Reka Bentuk Web Interaktif and Animasi 2.
  • Apply independent learning through Amalan Reka Bentuk Bebas, supported by Pengurusan Kokurikulum.
