Submit your application early

Nilai University asks international applicants to submit their application 3 months before the intake they intend to enroll in, to help facilitate visa processing. Check the programme requirements on the official programme page and make sure your English proficiency and academic documents meet the published criteria before you apply. If anything is unclear about your previous qualification, contact Nilai University’s admissions for guidance as early as possible.

Complete and send the documents

Prepare a completed application form and accommodation form, plus passport photocopies with minimum validity as stated in the admissions procedure. Submit secondary/secondary vocational school results and graduation certificate, including translated copies in English if your original documents are not in English. Ensure your health declaration form is completed and include any required document such as an NOC or LOC when applicable. Make sure you keep copies of everything you submit.

Send payment details and process your application

Pay the required application-related fees payable to Nilai University as listed in the international student application procedure. Then send the documents and payment details to Nilai University via the provided email/fax or address method. After receipt, Nilai University states you will receive an email within two weeks containing items such as the Letter of Offer and Pro Forma Invoice. Follow the instructions immediately after you receive the offer documents.

Visa submission process through EMGS

Nilai University states that your student Visa Approval Letter will be processed, including submission via Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) to the relevant Malaysian authorities. They also state that successful applicants receive the Visa Approval Letter within six to eight weeks. You are required to apply for a Single-Entry Visa and endorse the Visa Approval Letter at the nearest Malaysian Embassy/Consulate/High Commission before travelling. Plan your travel only after completing these steps.

After you receive the offer pack and receipt information, complete the first payment to the university as instructed for your enrolment confirmation.
