Nilai University asks international applicants to submit their application about 3 months before the intake they intend to enrol in to help facilitate student visa processing. Choose the intake that matches the programme’s published intake period and prepare your documents early so they can be reviewed in time.
Complete the required forms and prepare two sets of photocopies of your passport, with a minimum validity of 2 years. Provide your Secondary or Secondary Vocational School results and Graduation Certificate, including translated copies in English if your original documents are not in English. Also include the required photographs and the completed Health Declaration Form as listed by Nilai University for international students.
Nilai University publishes a programme application fee and other visa-related and processing fees for international applicants. After payment, send all documents and payment details to Nilai University as instructed (including receipts/telegraphic transfer details). Nilai University processes your application after receiving the package.
Within two weeks of receiving your application package, Nilai University states you will receive an email pack that includes a Letter of Offer and additional acceptance information. You are then required to pay the full amount stated in your Pro Forma invoice before arrival to Malaysia. Nilai University also states visa approval letter processing timelines (including processing through EMGS) and the next steps for endorsing the visa letter through Malaysian representatives.
