Description:

The Bachelor of Nursing (Hons) Public Health provides students with a comprehensive understanding of how to promote health, prevent diseases, and improve the quality of life for individuals and communities. The curriculum is divided into two main phases:

Phase 1: Pre-Clinical Years (Years 1–2)
Focuses on building a strong foundation in basic sciences, including anatomy, physiology, microbiology, and pharmacology. Students also learn essential skills such as communication, ethics, and public health principles.

Phase 2: Clinical/Practical Years (Years 3–4)
Involves hands-on clinical training in hospitals, community health centers, and public health settings. Students gain practical experience in areas such as patient care, health education, disease prevention, and community health assessments.
