Description:

The Bachelor of Biotechnology (Hons) provides students with a comprehensive understanding of biotechnological principles and their applications in solving real-world challenges. The curriculum is divided into two main phases:

Phase 1: Foundational Years (Years 1–2)
Focuses on building a strong foundation in basic sciences, including biology, chemistry, biochemistry, and microbiology. Students also learn essential skills such as laboratory techniques, data analysis, and scientific communication.

Phase 2: Practical Years (Year 3)
Involves hands-on training in real-world settings, including biotechnology laboratories, research facilities, and industrial environments. Students gain practical experience in areas such as genetic engineering, bioprocessing, bioinformatics, and environmental biotechnology.
