Master’s
The Master of Management (International Business) at Massey University is designed for those looking to build expertise in global business, international trade, and cross-border management. Whether you are already managing teams involved in international operations or planning to move into this area, this programme helps you develop the knowledge required to operate in global markets.
You’ll gain a clear understanding of how businesses expand beyond domestic markets, which is especially important in economies like New Zealand, where international trade plays a key role. The programme focuses on practical and strategic aspects of international business management, preparing you to work across different regions and industries.
Throughout the course, you’ll study areas such as export management, international marketing, global logistics, foreign exchange basics, and market entry strategies. You’ll also explore international trade theory and globalisation, along with how organisations grow and operate in multinational environments.
The programme also addresses real challenges faced by global businesses, including cross-cultural management, working in diverse teams, and responding to global issues such as sustainability and economic change.
As a postgraduate qualification, it requires strong academic performance and builds advanced skills in strategic thinking, decision-making, and global business analysis.
For students aiming for careers in international business, global trade, and multinational management, this degree provides a practical pathway into leadership roles in the global marketplace.
