In Mechatronics (B.Sc.) at HAW Hamburg, you develop intelligent systems that combine mechanics, electronics and software, working in development teams across automotive and aerospace, mechanical engineering, automation, and start-ups. The programme strengthens your ability to design and develop mechatronic systems by linking technical innovation with structured problem-solving.
From the fourth semester, you deepen your knowledge of mechatronics and, from the fifth semester onwards, you tailor your studies to your interests through compulsory mechatronics modules plus freely selectable compulsory-elective modules or one of the specialisations.
