📘 Program Overview

Der Bachelorstudiengang Betriebswirtschaft (B.A.) bietet Absolvent*innen österreichischer Handelsakademien (HAK) die Möglichkeit, den akademischen Grad Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in vier Semestern im verkürzten Teilzeitstudium zu erwerben. Die verkürzte Studienform ergibt sich durch die Anerkennung einiger Module der HAK-Ausbildung als Vorleistungen.

Der Studiengang umfasst insgesamt 180 ECTS-Punkte, davon 60 ECTS-Punkte aus Anrechnungen. Die Inhalte decken betriebswirtschaftliche, volkswirtschaftliche und juristische Grundlagen ab und sind auf den berufsbegleitenden Studienalltag ausgerichtet.

Foundation phase
  • You build core business knowledge through modules such as Wissenschaftliches Arbeiten and Wirtschaftsstatistik.
  • You study the fundamentals of private economic law (Grundlagen des Wirtschaftsprivatrechts) and business-related economics (Grundlagen der Volkswirtschaft).
  • You complete foundational modules including Grundlagen des Steuerrechts and Unternehmensführung.
Core business and specialisation phase
  • You complete additional core modules including Wirtschaftspolitik and Nachhaltigkeitsmanagement.
  • You develop advanced applied capability with modules such as Management komplexer Problemsituationen and Arbeits- und Organisationspsychologie.
  • In the 3rd semester, you choose one module from the elective law block (Wahlpflichtkomplex Recht), such as Wettbewerbsrecht und Gewerblicher Rechtsschutz or Europäisches Wirtschaftsrecht.
