  • Your qualification builds credibility for roles in family support, integration work, debt counseling, and inclusion-focused services within community and municipal structures.
  • The program’s focus on communication, ethics, diversity, and social management helps you handle complex social challenges commonly found in public institutions.

📝 How to Apply

1

Review eligibility and secure the required practice contract

International applicants must meet the school qualification requirement and, for the start of the programme, provide proof of a contract with a suitable training provider for the parallel practical phase. Because this is an exclusively dual programme model, your application depends on having the right practice partner arrangement in place. Start early to align your documents with the partner’s requirements and timeline.

2

Apply through the Munich partner application portal

You must apply via the Landeshauptstadt München application process for this dual study programme. Upload the required documents in the partner’s application portal during the published application period. The portal uses an online test for preselection, followed by an invitation to a job interview depending on your results.

3

Complete preselection and interview steps

After submitting your application, Landeshauptstadt München uses an online test as part of preselection. Depending on your test result, you may be invited to a Vorstellungsgespräch (job interview). Keep your application documents and contact details ready, since your next step depends on the outcome of this selection process.
