Der Bachelor-Studiengang Management & Digitalisierung (B.A.) richtet sich an alle, die berufsbegleitend oder dual neben der Ausbildung studieren und sich gezielt an der Schnittstelle zwischen Business und IT positionieren möchten.

Im Studium erwirbst du fundiertes wirtschaftswissenschaftliches Know-how und grundlegende IT-Fähigkeiten: Du lernst IT-Management, Digital Business, Change-Management und Datenschutz kennen und entwickelst digitale Strategien.

Academic qualification

Higher secondary / university entrance qualificationInternational applicants must meet the university entrance qualification requirement, such as (Fach-)Abitur or an equivalent qualification recognized as comparable for admission. FOM also explains that applicants can be admitted with an appropriate professional qualification and experience, depending on the access route.
Professional qualification and work experience (when applicable)For applicants who do not use Abitur, FOM indicates that admission can be possible with a completed vocational qualification plus at least three years of relevant work experience after qualification or an advanced qualification such as Fachwirt or Meister. In addition, FOM states that applicants must be currently in employment (full-time or part-time) or in a relevant qualification/work situation such as training, internship, traineeship, or volunteering.

Language requirements

The program is taught in German. For international applicants, FOM states that you need English language knowledge for admission at Level B2 and that the English proof must be provided by the end of the first semester. The university also states general admission requirements for applicants with foreign qualifications (including what proof is needed and how the application is submitted).
