| First university degree (Bachelor or equivalent) | International applicants need a completed first university degree (for example Bachelor, Diplom, Magister, or Staatsexamen) or an accredited Berufsakademie degree. Admissions also considers whether your previous programme includes a business/economics component of at least 40 ECTS; if not, you may need relevant work experience (1.5 years) that fits the Master. International applicants should confirm the semester they want to apply for before submitting their application. Prepare the required certified documents (for example, authenticated copies of your qualifications and transcript records) and ensure they are provided as PDFs. Make sure your documents match the admission evidence needed for your degree-equivalence and business/economics prerequisites. If your situation is unclear (e.g., business/economics credits or work experience), contact the university before submission for guidance.
Complete the university’s application steps by filling in the online registration/application form during the published period. Provide your personal data and educational background exactly as shown in your passport. Indicate the semester you are applying for so admissions can route your file correctly.
After registering, submit your completed and signed application form together with the required certified documents. FOM’s international application instructions specify sending the signed application and required documents by email to the International Office address listed in the application guidance. When your original documents are not in German or English, they must be translated accordingly and the certified translation/certified copy process should follow the guidance from FOM International.
