Course Structure

Constituent master level courses

The courses and projects available as constituent master level courses are the ones whose codes start with DM8xx or IADM8xx. The only exception is DM857 Introduction to programming, which cannot be chosen by Computer science students.

Please note that at least 20 ECTS of the courses and projects which you choose as constituent courses must be graded according to the 7-point grading scale.

Master thesis

The master thesis can by choice be reduced to 30 ECTS::

1) If you choose to take additional 30 ECTS constituent master level courses

or:

2) If you choose to take a 30 ECTS company project. On condition that you haven’t already taken a company project as part of the perspectivating semester.

Subject perspective activity

The subject perspective activity gives students the opportunity to develop various general competencies through e.g. studies abroad, internships in public or private companies, or for participation in immersion-oriented, dissemination, innovation- or business-oriented activities. Students have a great deal of freedom to choose how the 30 ECTS subject-perspective activity is to be used, and therefore it is crucial that the students can receive academic guidance. Students thus have the opportunity to plan their master's education with a perspective on a future business career.

It is still possible to register for DM8xx courses in the 2nd semester.

Study start test

It is mandatory to pass the study start test within the first month after study start.
