The master's degree program in Neurosciences is a research-oriented, international program with the primary goal of providing talented students with a comprehensive education in the rapidly expanding field of neurosciences. Students are prepared for careers in research or a related field within medicine or biology.
A key point of focus in the program is practical research experience in the laboratories of the participating departments and research groups. The first two semesters lay the foundation, consisting of required courses in neuromorphology, neurophysiology, and molecular neurobiology, as well as statistics, scientific writing, and research ethics. Students then have the option to focus on one of these fields or choose from a broad range of other areas, such as neuroethology, neurogenetics, neuropharmacology, clinical neurosciences, cognitive neurosciences, and reconstructive neurobiology, among others.
