APU’s Master of Project Management is an accredited programme that aims to develop masters-level knowledge and practical skills in project management aligned with international standards. The programme is designed to prepare professional project managers through project management theory, hands-on learning, and research-informed teaching.
The programme comprises 12 coursework modules and a Project, including 10 compulsory core modules (including Research Methodology) plus elective modules based on a selected pathway. Students complete the modules and project requirements under the programme structure delivered by APU.

📝 How to Apply
Start your application and prepare documents
Submit an online application to APU for the Master of Project Management during the published intake window. Prepare certified true copies of your academic qualifications and transcripts with English translation where applicable, and include your English language proof (or exemption request supporting documents) if you apply for an exemption. The university recommends applying 6–8 weeks before the scheduled intake to allow time for the visa process.
Request an offer letter and complete visa-related processing
Once your eligibility is assessed, APU issues an offer letter and you proceed with the international student visa and application fee stages described in APU’s international fee guide. APU states that the student pass processing is submitted to EMGS after receiving complete documents and application fees. The university advises that you remain outside Malaysia during visa processing to avoid delays.
Obtain your visa approval letter (VAL)
After EMGS processes your Student Pass application, you will receive the Visa Approval Letter (VAL) if approved. APU notes that the VAL can be tracked and downloaded via the EMGS website after submission. Once you receive the VAL, follow APU’s instructions for the next steps before travelling.
Travel to Malaysia and complete arrival steps
After your VAL is issued, apply for the required entry visa (where applicable) supported by the Student Pass approval letter issued by EMGS/Immigration Malaysia. APU instructs students on planning travel timing so you do not enter too early or too late relative to your course commencement. On arrival, ensure your required immigration and course documents are ready for clearance.
