Bachelor's degreeInternational applicants require a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, or its equivalent as accepted by the Senate. A Bachelor’s degree in Education or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 (below 2.50) may be accepted subject to a rigorous internal assessment, and a Bachelor’s degree in non-related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 may be accepted subject to passing pre-requisite modules. Applicants without an Education-related Bachelor’s degree must pass the pre-requisite modules to continue with the Master’s Degree.

Language requirements

📝 How to Apply

Apply to the programme

Submit an online application through APU’s official application process during the published intake window. Prepare your academic documents and English requirement evidence according to the programme’s entry requirements for international students. If your qualification is outside Malaysia, ensure it meets the university’s published Senate accepted CGPA and related-field criteria, including any pre-requisite modules if needed.

Provide complete documents and fees for Student Pass processing

After the university receives your complete documents together with the international student visa requirements and application fees, your application will be submitted to EMGS for Student Pass processing. This may take about 2-3 weeks when documents and payment are complete. The university advises that application forms should arrive at least eight weeks before the intake dates to support early approval.

Track your EMGS process and obtain your Visa Approval Letter

You can track your application process on the EMGS website and download the Visa Approval Letter (VAL) once it is approved. The university guidance notes that students should avoid entering Malaysia during the visa process to prevent delays and queries from Malaysian Immigration. Once approved, the university will notify you with the next steps and arrival guidelines.
