    📝 How to Apply

    1

    Apply and submit documents

Submit your application via APU’s official admissions channel and upload your required documents for assessment. Ensure your passport details match the names and dates in your academic transcripts/certificates. If your academic transcripts are not in English, arrange certified translated copies as required by the university for visa processing.

    2

Receive the Letter of Offer and pay pre-arrival processing fees

If you meet the eligibility criteria, you will receive a Letter of Offer. To enable the university to proceed with your Student Visa application, pay the required pre-arrival application processing fees immediately with your acceptance. After accepting the offer, prepare additional items for visa application such as passport photos, certified document copies, and the Health Declaration Form.

    3

Complete Student Visa processing through EMGS

Once the university receives your complete documents and the international student visa and application fees, it submits your application to EMGS. This process may take about 2–3 weeks after receiving complete documents. The university advises that your forms and supporting documents arrive early, and that you avoid entering Malaysia during visa processing to prevent delays.

    4

Prepare for arrival and fulfil international-student arrival steps

After your Visa Approval Letter is approved, follow the arrival steps and guidelines provided by APU. On arrival in Malaysia, you will report to the EMGS International Students Arrival Centre (ISAC) for assistance with entry procedures. You will also complete medical screening and follow the university guidance for student pass endorsement and insurance requirements.
