Bachelor's degreeInternational applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 (or its equivalent as accepted by the Senate). If the CGPA is 2.50 or above but below 2.75, admission may be granted subject to a rigorous internal assessment. If the CGPA is below 2.50, admission may be granted subject to a minimum of 5 years working experience in the relevant fields, or working experience in accounting-related fields plus passing prerequisite courses. Relevant professional accounting qualifications equivalent to a bachelor’s degree may also be accepted as accepted by the Senate.

Submit your application to APU

Apply through APU’s official application process within the published intake period. Provide all required documents for academic eligibility and English requirements, and ensure your submissions are complete before the deadline. If any documents are missing, admissions may request additional items during processing.

Complete visa processing through EMGS (via APU)

After APU receives your complete documents together with your international student visa and application fees, APU will submit your application to EMGS for student pass processing. During the process, you may be asked for additional documentation as required to support your visa application. Plan your application so that enough time remains for student pass processing.

Attend the required international student processes after approval

Once your student pass process is progressing, follow the university’s instructions for immigration-related requirements and arrival procedures for international students. The university also notes obligations such as submitting the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) for entry into Malaysia. Attend any orientation process that includes immigration procedures and medical insurance requirements as communicated by the university.
