The Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Software Engineering at Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU) is designed to build your ability to develop mission-critical and safety-critical software systems using rigorous software engineering methods and evaluation of design paradigms, languages, algorithms, and techniques.

Across the programme, you cover software engineering fundamentals, design and development methodologies, a minimum 16-week internship/industrial training, and final-year project work in software engineering, alongside APU’s required MQA compulsory subjects for students.

Prepare your documents and confirm the intake you want

Check the programme admission requirements and select the intake date you plan to join. Prepare certified true copies of your academic qualifications, and include English proficiency evidence (IELTS/TOEFL/PTE) if required for your profile. Receive the Letter of Offer and pay the pre-arrival processing fee (when required)

If you meet the eligibility criteria, you will receive a Letter of Offer. To enable the university to submit your application for the student visa, APU requires the payment of RM 3,600 as pre-arrival application processing fees immediately along with the required documents for visa processing. After acceptance, provide the additional information and photographs required for the EMGS stage-1 submission.

Complete visa processing and arrive in Malaysia within the required timeline

Once your student pass process is underway, follow APU guidance for your next steps before travel. APU also advises that you should not enter Malaysia earlier than two weeks prior to the commencement date of your course. Plan your travel timing so you can complete airport arrival and immigration clearance processes smoothly.
