Initiate your APU application for the correct intake

Complete the APU online application form and clearly indicate the programme you are applying for and the intake date. For undergraduate applications, you may apply with forecast results if you are still awaiting final results, and APU may issue a conditional offer based on final results. Prepare certified true copies of your academic documents, and submit the English test score copies used to evaluate English proficiency.

Request your offer letter and confirm admission

To enable APU to submit your student visa application, you must make the required Pre-Arrival Application Processing Fees payment immediately after you accept the offer. Student pass processing through EMGS

Once APU receives your complete documents, together with your international student visa and application fees, APU submits the application to EMGS. This process may take about 2 to 3 weeks on receiving complete documents and payment. You are advised to plan for approval timing and to avoid entering Malaysia while your visa is being processed unless instructed for transfer cases.

Prepare for arrival and follow entry requirements

After visa approval, you will receive the Visa Approval Letter and further arrival instructions by email or post. Follow APU’s arrival guidance for immigration clearance and airport reporting, and complete required digital arrival steps when arriving in Malaysia. Arriving on time is important for orientation and international student briefing, and students are not permitted to join classes if they arrive too late after the course has commenced.
