| International entry qualifications | International applicants are assessed against the programme’s general entry qualifications and APU’s accepted equivalencies for overseas qualifications. If you hold an overseas qualification equivalent to 12th Grade/A-Level/HSC, it may be accepted, and the programme also lists accepted routes such as STPM, A-Level, UEC, Matriculation/Foundation, and ICT-related diplomas with relevant Mathematics credit requirements. |
| Mathematics requirement | For entry, the programme requires a Credit in Mathematics as part of the listed international qualification routes. If your Mathematics achievement meets the Pass level but not the Credit level stated in the programme requirements, you may need a Pre-Requisite Mathematics module prior to or at the beginning of the study. |
International students must meet the programme English requirements (IELTS, TOEFL iBT, PTE, or MUET) or may be considered for a conditional student visa with English certification and an English assessment at APU after arrival.

Submit your application through APU’s online application system and select the correct programme and intake date. Upload your certified academic documents and the required English proficiency results (where applicable). If you are still awaiting final results, you may apply using forecast results and may receive a conditional offer based on achieving the specified grades.
APU reviews your submitted documents to assess eligibility for admission. If you meet the eligibility criteria, you will receive a Letter of Offer. Ensure that your documents are complete because review is based on receiving the full set of required documents.
After accepting your Letter of Offer, you will be required to make the pre-arrival application processing fee payment immediately to enable APU’s student visa application. Submit the additional items required for visa processing, including passport details and the English certification results. Follow APU’s guidance for the next steps after you receive the offer acceptance confirmation.
APU advises international students to arrive at least one week before the intake begins to avoid missing orientation. If you are arriving by air, notify APU at least 7 days prior to your arrival in Malaysia so they can arrange airport pick-up and immigration clearance facilitation. Keep your documentation ready for reporting requirements on arrival in Malaysia.
