📝 How to Apply
Initiate your application and upload documents
Submit the APU online application form and include the required supporting documents. For undergraduate applications, APU states you may apply with forecast results if you are still awaiting final results, and you may be given a conditional offer based on final grades. When completing the application, clearly indicate the programme you are applying for and the intake date.
Receive the Letter of Offer and confirm your admission
If you meet the eligibility criteria, you will receive a Letter of Offer. To enable APU to submit your Student Visa application, you must pay the RM 3,600 Pre-Arrival Application Processing Fees immediately along with the documents required for visa processing. APU also notes that you will normally receive results in 2–3 working days after receiving complete documents.
Student Pass processing through EMGS
Once APU receives your complete documents together with the International Student Visa and application fees, APU submits the application to EMGS. APU states this may take about 2–3 weeks on receiving complete documents and payment. APU advises that application forms arrive at least eight weeks before the intake dates to support early approval, and recommends that you avoid entering Malaysia during the visa process.
