How It Works

  • Interview Notification—You’ll receive an email/letter if an interview is required.
  • Schedule the interview at a Canadian embassy/consulate or Visa Application Centre (VAC).
  • Prepare for Common Questions:
    • Study Plans: Why did you choose this program/university?
    • Financial Proof: Can you support your studies and living costs?
    • Home Ties: Will you return after your studies? (Important for visa approval)
    • Post-graduation Plans: Do you intend to work in Canada?

Documents Needed for Interview

  • Valid passport
  • Letter of Acceptance (LOA)
  • Proof of funds (bank statements, scholarships, sponsor letters)
  • Academic transcripts & language test results
  • Any additional documents requested by IRCC

Visa Decision & Passport Submission

  • You’ll get a Passport Request (PPR) to submit for visa stamping if approved.
  • If refused, you’ll receive a letter explaining the reasons (you can reapply after addressing issues).
